Visit the Arena, the famous Roman amphitheatre and learn about its construction, its current and ancient use, and the historical legends behind it. Meet with the guide outside the Arena to join this guided tour, then skip the long queue at the entrance. Meet your guide and travel to the beautiful Lake Garda. Here you will start the tour by boat. After meeting the captain, you will take a seat on the motorboat and get comfortable for the adventure.
After taking off, you will head towards the small villages along the shores of the lake, such as Lazise or Bardolino, a slow passage from the coast will give you a unique view. Then you will head towards the beautiful bay of Punta San Vigilio, an enchanting place that seems to have stood still in time. You will find a small port, a locanda, and an historic villa waiting there for you.
After a break you will resume your route to the beautiful peninsula of Sirmione. Here you will see the ancient thermal caves of Catullus and the places lived by Julius Ceasar. Meet the guide in the city center of Verona, and let the adventure begin! On board an original convertible Alfa Romeo you will pass through the city center until you reach the countryside and Valpolicella hills, which are full of grape vineyards. The roar of the Alfa Romeo will follow you up and down the hills, and take your breath away. When you reach the middle of your route you will enjoy a traditional Italian lunch in a typical and authentic tavern of Valpolicella, where the basic ingredients are collected from the surrounding areas. Depending on the season, you can find the Lessinia truffle or the traditional cured meats prepared by a farmer from the hills. The fresh pasta is made by hand as it once was, and all accompanied by excellent Valpolicella red wine.
After lunch, the route continues up and down the hills between vineyards and olive trees, until you return to the heart of the old city. Here you will be saying goodbye to the Alfa Romeo … your companion for the day.
